about_
i’m a filipino software engineer in melbourne.
i started out building production systems, and eventually moved into test automation—mostly after seeing how often things break in the same ways.
these days, i design and build test frameworks, and spend a lot of time trying to stop broken things from quietly making it to production.
outside of work, i’m the vocalist and co-producer for tito science.
i ride my bike further than i probably should, get tapped out by people half my size in jiujitsu, and lose more tennis balls than i can justify replacing.

worked across multiple clients and projects as part of planit. most of the work sits between building automation, maintaining it, and figuring out why it breaks under real usage. includes stakeholder comms, ui and database automation, framework design, tool evaluation, documentation, and mentoring.
2020 — 2021
Systems Architect / SDET / Automation Test Engineer
Star8 Green Technology Corp.
led quality and delivery for innov8, star8's software development division. designed test automation from scratch in javascript/gauge/taiko, containerised via docker and jenkins, then built a second generation framework in c#/.net. trained manual qas in automation, facilitated agile coaching, and guided web and mobile teams on testable architecture.

Digi Group
worked on finastra loaniq for bank of commerce as a finastra partner. designed the initial ui test suite, updated the framework to dotnet core, and added web support with selenium. client-facing role with stakeholder meetings and documentation.

developed power express and amadeus module for a global travel corp. designed a reusable framework enabling code standardisation across the team. led the sdet program addressing testing backlogs. sabre, travelport, amadeus.
