Responsibilities:
- Meet (virtually) with key UoN stakeholders to understand:
- Test automation tool requirements
- Skillset and capability of team members
- Current documented regression tests and associated test data
- The failings of any previous test automation frameworks
- The Application Under Test (AUT) and an architectural overview
- Create Automation POCs using:
- .NET/Specflow/Selenium Grid
- UIPath
- Tosca
- Client facing
- Meet with clients, stakeholders, and other teams for alignment and/or integration.
- Evaluate the Test Automation tools against the AUT in terms of capability, support, cost, maintainability, and other key requirements discovered.
- Provide insight and tool recommendations.
- Document detailing recommended test automation tool options.
- Present findings to UoN, as well as give a demo of the POC to the stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Learned UIPath and adapted to the current test framework in place.
- Implemented and Executed Automated Test Cases.
- Create re-useable utilities/workflows for use in other Test Cases.
- Designed and created a SQL database for Test Suite/Cases Performance logging for status, performance statistics, as well as test data. These include stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Created the necessary SQL scripts to run when creating a new instance of the Test Database.
- Created the Test Database Design Diagrams and Documentation in the Azure DevOps Wiki, as well as the use of the database related utilities/workflows in UIPath.
